Towers Hill Community Fun Run/Walk 2022

Distances will both be short and sweet, the longer course is approx. 5km & short approx. 2km.

$5 ENTRY – subsidised by Charters Towers Regional Council as part of the Towers Rush program of events

Come and celebrate Towers Hill as an icon of Charters Towers. It’s the centrepiece for many in their weekly exercise routine and home to history for Australia’s Military campaigns and the well-known gold rush that built Charters Towers.

The longer run follows the flatter gravel tracks around the base of the hill and takes in a steep ascent with a breathtaking hilltop view before a quick descent to the finish arch.

The shorter 2km run will take in the flatter tracks around the hill and a much shorter distance as to enjoy the scenery without the climbing. This will not be as much of a physical challenge and perfect for a beginner.
